Q&A: When I click on a link on google it redirects me?

Question by asjklsmh: When I click on a link on google it redirects me?
After I search something on google and attempt to click on a link to a website, it redirects me to “thefeedwater.com” which, in turn, sends me to random websites such as yellowpages, “get out of debt” sites, and other websites. For example, I typed in “2005 saab 9-5″ then clicked on the link to “consumer guide automotive” and it sent me to “debt to financial freedom” website. This is very frustrating…. What is going on ??

Would you re-elect?

Question by phillipk_1959: Would you re-elect?
Would you re-elect the last President to Reduce the “”Total Federal Debt”"?Not talking about Cheney or Clinton, referred to a reduction in the “Total Federal Debt”.Last President to reduce the “total federal debt” was a republican. Appears none of the democrats here have the courage to go look it up.

My cousins always show off their stuff?

Question by Question and Answer: My cousins always show off their stuff?
My cousins always get new stuff like… Macbooks, ipods, new cars, new furniture, etc… and everytime we go there they’re always showing off, and are like “Ohh thats so old” or “Who even has that anymore” “You dont have a car???” blah blah blah… We can’t afford to buy everything they can have but I want to know how can I get them to stop??Their parents can’t really “afford” all that stuff either. They bought all of that stuff on credit cards, and finance the cars… etc…. but my parents say “It’s better not to be in debt” which I know their right.

I have a bankruptcy filing question..?

Question by mamaflutey: I have a bankruptcy filing question..?
There are some items on our credit report that are NOT OURS.Q1: Since we still have to fill out the forms when it asks “when debt was created” should we copy the info given OR put “unknown”?Question 2: When it asks for “type of debt” should we put “unknown”?On the back of the form I intend to put “no” for the 3 questions (is the debt secured, etc)….IDK if I’m supposed to or not..PS: the law firm KNOWS we are disputing this debt. We were not informed how to fill out the forms, only that we must.THANKSYeah I have to call her tomorrow anyway.ThANKS

Can I file a lawsuit against my former bank?

Question by Jen H: Can I file a lawsuit against my former bank?
Please don’t say “yeah, probably” or “no”…I need people who have experience with lawsuits of this nature…2 years ago I had an account with a certain bank. I had over $ 480 in my account. I had written a check for $ 400, but later that day decided to have it cancelled. I was charged a $ 30 fee for the cancellation, but was unsure if it actually went through. A day later I spent $ 40 on multiple purchases (some just $ 2 or $ 3), figuring that if the check DID go through, I would still be in the positive. 2 days after this, I noticed my account was at -$ 585 (yes, thats a negative). It came to my attention that the check DID grow through, along with 2 more charges of $ 30 for the check cancellation fee (totalling $ 90 in fees for a check that was never canceled). I was charged $ 35 per overdraft from 2 days prior when I clearly had the money in my account to cover the expenses for that day. After arguing with the manager and she saying that “[we] have no control over when your pending transactions actually go through.” and that I “need to keep a better record of my spendings” (which I was completely appalled by…because I had been keeping track of every penny spent), I eventually paid the debt off. A month and a half later a similiar ocurrence happened where I ended up with $ 400+ in overdraft fees…I refused to pay it and attempted to file a complaint with the company to no avail…My account was closed off and I was placed in the chex system, which now bars me from opening an account ANYWHERE.I’m obviously still frustrated by this, I feel like the owe me that $ 500 in overdraft fees (because I wasn’t overdrafted when I spent the money! and wouldn’t be overdrafted without the $ 90 check cancellation fees), and more importantly, I want my name OFF the chex system and my $ 400 “debt” with the bank to be forgiven. Is it possible to file a suit against a bank? Do I have a case here? You’re a tool…it wasn’t my fault…at all…that’s the point. go suck another one.

You have a good argument for $ 30, and I am sure that if you go talk to your banker, you can walk out with that much money. After that, it is your own damn fault.

Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall at a Fox News strategy meeting?

Question by future: Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall at a Fox News strategy meeting?
“How do we counter the fact that Obama speaks so well compared to Bush? HEY! How about we say he always needs a teleprompter?”"How do we obscure the fact that Bush doubled the debt?” “HEY! Let’s fudge Bush’s figures so it looks like he spent less than he did, then put the cost of TARP and the War(s) on OBAMA’S tab!”"What do we do about the fact that bank deregulation caused a huge financial market collapse?” “HEY! Republicans wrote the bill cancelling Glass-Steagal, but lets just say it’s CLINTON’S FAULT again and again until nobody knows the truth anymore!”(and on and on…)”THEN let’s pretend that all the WILD estimates of what Obama’s programs MIGHT cost in the next 10 years have been ALREADY SPENT and are part of the deficit!!! That’ll work great! Then we can say ‘Obama has spent more money than (insert lie here.’”
